No problem — there's likely a public-library makerspace near you with a laser cutter. Many let you use the machines free with a library card; you just pay for materials.
Custom address, family, and garden signs — exports laser-ready SVG with cut + engrave layers. No signup.
Design custom laser-cut signs in your browser — no account, no software install. Pick from 4 shape presets (rectangle, rounded, oval, peaked), add up to two lines of text with adjustable size, choose from 15 hand-picked symbols, and optionally include mount holes for hanging hardware. Export a single SVG with color-separated cut and engrave layers in real millimeters, ready for LightBurn, xTool Creative Space, Glowforge, LaserGRBL, or any laser software. Great for address plaques, family signs, garden markers, and small-business signage.
Two color-separated layers: a cut layer (red strokes by default) for the sign outline and any mount holes, and an engrave layer (black fills) for the text and symbol. Most laser software (LightBurn, LaserGRBL, xTool Creative Space, Glowforge) treats different colors as different operations.
Common sizes: 280×110 mm for an address sign, 220×130 mm for a family sign, and 200×110 mm for a garden marker. The default 280×110 mm fits a 4-digit street number with the road name beneath it. The width and height sliders go up to 500×300 mm if you're cutting a larger plaque.
Yes — text in the exported SVG uses a system font (Arial Black / Impact). Open the file in your laser software and convert text to paths (LightBurn: "Convert to Path", Inkscape: "Path → Object to Path") so the engraving renders identically regardless of which fonts are installed on the cutting computer.
Yes — the Mount Holes toggle in Advanced adds two cut-through circles near the top of the sign for hanging hardware. The hole diameter, side inset, and top inset are all adjustable. For a peaked sign the holes automatically shift below the peak so they sit in the rectangular section.
No. The Sign Designer runs entirely in your browser. No sign-up, no tracking — your designs stay on your device.
